Our
Staff .....Kate
Wesolowski joined St. Luke’s Day School & Kindergarten
as the director in July 2000. Kate has a dual Bachelor’s degree
in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Cabrini College. She
has been an active part of the school board since her arrival involved
in all aspects of the center’s operation. |

Adelaide came to St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten in 1989. She has worked with all three age
groups as a long term substitute. In 1995, she became a regular part time
staffer, and has remained in the position ever since. She is currently working
as an assistant teacher in the Pre-K class. Miss Adelaide truly enjoys working with children of all ages. She says, “It is a good feeling to know that somehow I have a small part in teaching these children to grow into wonderful adults.” Miss Adelaide has been married for 50 years to her sweetie, Mr. Herb. Together, they have two grown daughters, and three beautiful granddaughters, ages 23, 14 and 5. |

Joan joined the staff at St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten in 1993 and has been an assistant in the Pre-K
class for the entire fourteen years. She loves working with children and
relishes the tough as nails persona she has adopted, but is actually a big
softie. Joan says, “My favorite part of the class is making our academic piece of the program FUN!!!” Joan is known for her ability to make any situation enjoyable! Joan and Bob are the parents of four wonderful children. |

Sonia came to St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten as a classroom aide in December 2004. She
is currently working as the Pre-K Teacher while attainging her Associate’s
Degree in Early Childhood education through the TEACH program in Pennsylvania. Sonia married to her fiancé Ben in June 2007. |

Janet started at St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten as an assistant in 1994. She has been an assistant
in our Preschool classroom since 1995. Janet says, “I enjoy working
with the youngest group, being able to help them learn and grow while caring
for and keeping them safe in a loving environment.”
Janet is a married mother of three and a grandmother of two beautiful girls. |

Rosemary Q. Has been at St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten since 1998. She has worked with every age
group and is currently the assistant in the Preschool room. She says. “I
enjoy working with the children and my co-workers. It’s wonderful
to see the children grow from shy three year olds to independent school
age children. I try to provide the childern with love, care and support
each day.”

Kelly joined St. Luke’s
Day School &Kindergarten as the Preschool Teacher in August 2000. She
has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Holy Family University.
Kelly enjoys working with younger children because of their ability to make every activity new and exciting. She enjoys teaching both academic and social skills to the children. Kelly says, “It is important to help the children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment.” When Kelly is not playing and learning at St. Luke’s, she enjoys

Claire has been an assistant teacher
in Kindergarten at St. Luke’s since joining the staff in 1991. She previously worked with emotionally disturbed children at the former Eastern State School and Hospital. Claire says she “ enjoys the challenge of working with every new
class ans assisting in each child’s Claire is the mother of two grown children and a wife of 39 years. |

Anne came to St. Luke’s
Day School & Kindergarten as an assistant teacher in 1988. She has been the Kindergarten assistant for Anne continues to enjoy “being involved in the active care and development of the children who are here now as well as those who have been at the school through the years.” Anne is a mother of three grown children, a grandmother of five, and a wife to her husband, Terry. |

Rosemary C. has been the Kindergarten
Teacher since 1994. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from
Holy Family University. She has taught many children throughout her years at St. Luke’s. Rosemary says, “I strive to meet the academic and social needs of each child that comes in my classroom.” She believes her experience as a mother as well as an educator help the children grow in a healthy, loving, secure environment. Rosemary and her husband are parents to two beautiful daughters. |
